Scheduling
Students can schedule a test online or with the Head Coach of their choosing (Kim or Chad) whenever they feel ready to advance. The cost to schedule a test is $10. This test fee is due at the time of scheduling and is non-refundable.

If those test times do not fit your schedule, talk with your coach or contact us to find a more suitable time. Directly following your Level 1 class is a great time to test!
Scoring
Each skill is scored from 0 to 10 points. In order to advance, students must accumulate a minimum of 75 points out of 150 total points, this equates to an average score of 5 or better on each skill.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING QUALIFIER
In order to qualify to take the skills portion of the test, students must demonstrate the following strength movements with perfect form:
5 PUSH UPS

Keep Body Straight
-
Chest Should Almost Touch Ground

Keep Elbows In (45 Degrees or Closer)
5 ASSISTED MUSCLE UPS

One foot on top of the wall is okay
-
Elbows In (No Chicken Winging)
5 SQUAT JUMPS

Performed With No Pause Between Each Jump

Proper Slap Out Landing On Each Jump
SKILLS TEST
After a student has demonstrated the required strength elements, they move on to the skills portion. Students must perform these challenges adequately before advancing to Youth Level 2.
CLIMB 5’ BOX
Wall run to a half cat, then use a level 2 or better top out to stand up on top of the 5’ box.
WALL SPIN
On a sideways 4’ trapezoid, demonstrate a wall spin with hands in the middle of the trapezoid.
CARTWHEEL
Perform a gymnastics-style cartwheel. Begin facing forward, end facing backward. Hands must be pointed inward toward each other, legs should remain straight.
FORWARD ROLL
Perform a gymnastics-style forward roll. Must stand up smoothly with no help from your hands.
PARKOUR SHOULDER ROLLS (FORWARD & BACKWARD)
Perform a standard forward and backward Parkour shoulder roll on the red puzzle mats. Head cannot touch the ground and must be off to the side, hands should guide your roll to one side of your head.
BAR SWING
Legs should remain straight, re-grip in the back, and release and land on the back-swing.
UNDERBAR
Perform a basic underbar through the Green 2 hole without feet touching the wall.
The provided video demonstration shows this skill being done on flat ground. Students will be allowed a tire or lily pad to step on if they wish.
THREE VAULT COMBO
Perform in order a step vault, lazy vault, and kong up on the quad boxes. Transition footwork must be smooth.
BALANCE
Balance across the gray quad box beam with full control.
SINGLE OBSTACLE FLOW
Perform two two-move combos on a single obstacle:

Safety Dance (A step vault and reverse step vault)

Lazy Dance (A lazy vault and reverse lazy vault)
The provided video demonstration shows all four moves done in a combo with no pause. This is not the way this skill must be performed. You may split the combo into two two-move combos.
RUNNING JUMP TO CAT GRAB
Use a single foot takeoff on a tire placed 6’ (measured to the middle of the tire) to a cat grab on the green cat grab hold. Both feet must hit the wall at hip height.
The provided video demonstration shows this being done to the blue 7’ box, the skill remains the same, the test is done in a different location.
DYNO
Demonstrate proper dyno technique. This should include a split-foot takeoff, proper upper-body activation, and a controlled landing on the ground.
PRECISIONS
Starting on the white piece, jump and land with feet together on each piece of wood in a row with full control on each jump.
